What do the participants see?

COGNIFIT FOR RESEARCHERS

Once a study participant has registered with CogniFit and validated their account by accepting electronic consent, they can log into their account to begin completing the interventions assigned to them by the researcher. 

Participants need only complete the cognitive intervention chosen by the researcher. In this way, the interface of the participant account is greatly simplified compared to the interface of a researcher account or individual account. 

Note: The researcher account is only available in the browser of a personal laptop or desktop computer, but participants can also use mobile devices (mobile device browser or app).

Input device recommendation: To ensure the accuracy and validity of results, it is recommended to use an external mouse (wired or wireless) when completing CogniFit assessments on a computer or laptop. Using a mouse can improve movement precision and reaction times, and helps maintain more consistent conditions across participants.


The study participant will only see the interventions and tasks assigned to them by the researcher. We try to keep it as simple as possible to make it participant friendly and easy for the participant. To begin a task, simply click on it.
 


Note: If the study involves multiple tasks, the participant will see them in sequence. When the first task is completed, the next task will be accessed.

Attention: If a participant takes part in more than one study at a time, they can see them all at once in their account.
 


Note: Participants can also use the CogniFit mobile app by downloading it from Google Play or AppStore to complete the cognitive interventions assigned by the researcher.

By logging into the CogniFit app with their study participant username and password, the user will see the assigned interventions.
 


Attention: click on the gray “Reload activities” button to update the available programs.

Click on the task. On the page that opens click on the blue button at the bottom of the screen and start the intervention.
 

The results obtained by the participant will be sent directly to the researcher. The participant will not have access to the full results from their account, but will be able to view their score.
